     Fees go up after March 31st for summer camp, so it’s time to register now!  After you have paid for your registration, Linville Creek will pay for the remaining cost of camp for church members and regular Linville Creek attenders.  If you have questions or need more information, talk to Alice Bair, camp rep.  You can register at

      Spring Festival is back!  Brethren Woods will be hosting Spring Festival on April 30th.  Linville Creek will be staffing the Yard Sale this year.  Please bring your gently used items and make sure they are marked “Yard Sale” and place them behind the stage in the Fellowship Hall.  Let Alice Bair know if you can make some homemade ice cream.

     Check out the website for more information as there will lots of great activities that day as well as an auction which begins at 11:45 a.m. and includes Crafts, Theme Baskets, Quilts, Comforters, Surprises! Donated items are welcome!

     Doug Philips’ retirement celebration is scheduled for

2pm (at the conclusion of auction) to honor 39 Years of Incredible Service!

*Used Vehicles (We call it “Clunkers for Cash!” We’ll take your old car, sell it, and use the money to benefit the growing ministry at camp! Your contribution is tax deductible

     Recently two vehicles were donated to camp. They will be turned into resources to support the camp ministry.  There is still room in the parking lot for more!


     There are many opportunities to join what God is doing at Brethren Woods through volunteering. Doug has made a special request for some folks to come out (perhaps as family groups) to do some clean up in and around the Linville Creek Cabin.  Given the current situation with covid-19, you are asked to call ahead to arrange your volunteer task and time.  540-269-2741

Third Thursday of Each Month

Camp’s ministry happens all throughout the year, so we need volunteer help every month to keep up with our grounds, facilities, and programs.  You can join us every month on the third Thursday for our Helping Hands Workday.  There are always indoor and outdoor projects available for all kinds of skills, so there’s sure to be something that’s just right for you!  Just let us know what you’re interested in when you call ahead to sign-up.  This workday is perfect for retired folks, homeschool families, or others with flexible weekdays.  See you there!  Call to let them know you’re coming & the type of work you’d like to do.
