Brethren Woods Update

Renewing Our Faith… Outdoor Dinner

Brethren Woods’ Staff and the Outdoor Ministry Team are excited to invite you to join us for the 2022 Renewing Our Faith…Outdoors Dinner scheduled for Sunday, November 20th at 5:30pm inside Pine Grove at camp! This will be the first camp dinner that we have been able to have since 2019 and we hope you will join us. The evening will include appetizers, interactions with camp staff, updates on camp’s ministry, a delicious meal, evening entertainment by Kyle Remnant, and recognizing the volunteer of the year. We are especially eager to report on camp’s recent land/house purchase, which will be supported with funds raised by this event! Tables of up to 8 persons will cost $600. Individual tickets will cost $75 each. You can reserve tickets, tables, and donate online at www.brethrenwoods.org/dinner or by calling the camp office at 540-269-2741. Take the time to renew your faith…outdoors with us at Brethren Woods as we celebrate and give thanks for this amazing year of camp’s ministry!

Fall Family Night

Everyone is invited to join us for our Fall Family Night on October 22nd! At 5:30pm, we’ll enjoy a carry-in meal (please bring a dish to share!) and hot dog roast followed by a fun and faith-filled campfire. (If you want to come really early, the Fall Workday is that morning from 8am-3pm! See above.) Third Thursday of Each Month

Camp’s ministry happens all throughout the year, so we need volunteer help every month to keep up with our grounds, facilities, and programs. You can join us every month on the third Thursday for our Helping Hands Workday. There are always indoor and outdoor projects available for all kinds of skills, so there’s sure to be something that’s just right for you! Just let us know what you’re interested in when you call ahead to sign-up. This workday is perfect for retired folks, homeschool families, or others with flexible weekdays. See you there! Call to let them know you’re coming & the type of work you’d like to do.
